If I've made you a mix tape lately the Silversun Pickups have probably been on it in the form of the song Kissing Families. It is such a great tune. I particularly like the feedback/distortion crescendo near the end and the part where he screams the chorus. If I remember correctly I was turned onto this group by My Old Kentucky Blog a couple of months ago but I only grabbed this one song... Looks like I'm going to have to buy the album. They have a pretty nice website at http://www.silversunpickups.com be sure you check it out. It has it all, black eyes, floating bassists, beer, falling clocks and burning grilled cheese sandwiches. I've watched it about four times in a row. My butt has been kicked.
Does everyone know that I have a date with odida and the Fillmore? Ohh yes I'll be there one day.

You forgot...hot date at the fillmore. I can't wait for you to see all the pictures all over the walls of previous artists. And then there's a room upstairs filled with framed posters of everyone who's played there. Cause you always get a poster when you leave of who you've just seen. There are posters there from the beginning. And you must always take an apple before you exit.
