If you want it, come and get it, for cryin out loud

The cat over at http://www.gorillavsbear.blogspot.com has a track from the new Neil Diamond album that is beyond awesome. I have to echo his post a little and say that I never expected to hear that album even though everyone knows what a wizard Rick Rubin is with those old cats. Oddly enough shelbow was just talking about that disc at dinner this weekend.

G! has been obsessing about Antony and the Johnsons the last couple of days and can now tell you anything you could possibly want to know about them/him. I'll bet she posts on them in the next few days with music and everything... wonder what she'll put up? Check her site to find out.

And over at Central Village there is a story about The Arcade Fire that makes me hate those damned new yorkers (i'm so jealous that I refuse to capitalize).
Don't they ever have a nice uneventful evening in that city?

No...uneventful evening in New York. But, plenty in Sapulpa. Move now.

if New Yorkers were aware Arcade Fire was peddling their third tier wares they'd have pulverized the little bastards and fed them to the roaches - or just the silverfish.
If they ever show up in one of our B.A.R.T. stations - it's the third rail for them.

You guys need to beg Dia to make you some CD's of
like, hmmm, real muusic.

Beg me...well, naturally. But, if they really want true music...music that shakes them bones and rattles the souls of the empty establishment then your collection they should raid. Mr. Spankafantooodleeedoooo

and when did you start calling people cats? cheese fish

Cats and Cheese all face the same exile. The wordless story of truth. The mind bending knowledge that all will be rotton and over thrown. Too far they have come from the farms. From the cows they call servants. Who will listen to the useless crys of the underbelly of psycho mush mash? Who will see that the overblown fetish of the mind has ceased to be seen? Not me. I'll be riding in my porsche overlooking the damp salt infested shore to see the waves break perpindicular to the surreal.

and you all are the ones to ask about music? some of us like music that came out after 1987. closed minded people are a pet peave of mine, you know.

Dia said...

Pet peaves scratch the surface of the strong hold we have on our youth. There is no itch that can counteract the effects of the new symbol. The new Budda. The new Coka-Cola. We can only take over the pets and attack the peaves with vigor and strength in numbers.

clearly, it is the new regime. the old and the new forces working together against each other to produce evil. this new evil with hints of goodness make us hate each other. why can't people just hug? is it their fear of the unknown? i am amazed by the lack of apathy. the willingness to understand confounds me. but i am also strangly attracted to antony. thanks for the shout out mark. xx

I WANT HUGS

Shout out the new regime take over the courts of the unwilling and the apathetic! Make over the Oprah's and the Ellen's. We need more CD's, more knives, more understanding of the flower that rests in pictures of the festivals. No biting please.
