One day as a Lion

I've been listening to the Ep form One Day as a Lion which is Zack from Rage Against the Machine on vocals and keyboards and Jon Theodore formerly of The Mars Volta on drums. I really like it, the first song, Wild International, is probably my least favorite while If You Fear Dying is by far my favorite. A couple of the songs sound kinda the same which isn't a terrible thing on an ep. This has also sparked a frenzy of Rage Against the Machine listening and video watching on my part, damn those guys were amazing.

Hot damn! I was about 30 minutes from full on irreversible sharpie coma. I had to lay down on the couch. It was kinda funny. I am weak sauce. But you knew that already. How the hell does Mike do it? Like seriously?!?! That is his medium. It makes me appreciate his shit that much more. Its insane that all that steady line work is from a sharpie. Sharpies bleed like a stuck pig on paper and raw canvas. Its crazy.

i love that magazine. Did you know that is what sealed the deal with my temp job with two amazing designers a couple of winters ago? They asked what mags i liked and i was like juxtapoz, blah blah blah. And the guy was like thats my favorite and went on to say "I think you'll fit in just fine."

Well i would be a total failure if i scraped things with little mess ups. (paintings only-i try to salvage what i can on those-pastels are too delicate, one mess up and its over) it is really frustrating though so i can see his reasoning. especially with how fluid his line work is, a tiny mess up would be easily seen.
