Tattoo porn?

Ryan and i have been kicking around the idea of traditional work. What do you think?

Sometimes when you are searching for tattoos on the web you caome across something almost too good to be true. Behold tattoo porn. (I think Ryan is in this film.) Yes the name of this film is Cum on my Tattoos you can order it from www.burningangel.com you can also view a trailer there. I must say that if i were rich everyone i know over 18 would be getting this for christmas. I hurt myself laughing.

Chloe at the Cains

Chloe's first show was last weekend. I had to get her to a show at the Cain's before we move toVermont so when the Starlight Mints came to town I knew it would be perfect. G! was worried but everything worked out perfectly. You wouldn't believe the dancing that took place. Here are my girls getting down. Chloe's dance involved a dizzying number of spins and needed lots of room. Unfortunately Chloe didn't pace herself and was forced to sit out the last few songs of the Mint's set. The first band was really good but I never caught their name. The second band was The Octopus Project and they were great. The started the show with giant outlets on their heads. They play a hardcore instrumental dance thing. Really cool in concert but I'm not sure how it would hold up on disc.
Here are the ladies takin a break between sets. I can't tell you how much power these two have over me, it's scary and wonderful at the same time. I love them both a disgusting amount.
You can't see it but thank god they put a Minor stamp on Chloe's hand.

Here we are right before the octopus Project took the stage, can you see the big green robot ghost things on stage?
I also bought a sweeet Cain's sweat jacket.
By the way the shirt Chloe has on was mine when i was in elementary school.

Ok is Ok

I am way behind on the posts but i'll try to catch up. My only excuse is that school just ended friday.
Anywho two weekeds ago my brother was in town for a wedding and we spent an entire day together something we haven't done in years. We started with a breakfast at the new greasy little cafe at the end of our street. G!, ryan luke and i got caught up and ate. When we walked back to the house our parents were waiting. I guess i should say that we all got together that morning because caleb was recieving the outstanding boy of the sixth grade. We got to the gym where the assembly culminating in the award was being held and Judy whipped out this sweet fan. (It wasn't hot.) I agree with Luke's comment"it would be a lot cooler if there were knives in that thing".
We thought it was funny.

Caleb got the award. G! went back to work and luke and i went to lunch with bob and judy, right after that bob bought a new harley. We tried on goggle, do-rags and helmets(where are those pictures luke?) It wasn't as cool as it sounds. We then met up with G! again and did some shopping. Finally we went to see The Da Vinci Code where we ate a large tup of popcorn BEFORE THE MOVIE EVEN STARTED. We are hardcore.

The Zoo

Monday i took off and went with Liam and his class to the zoo. It was awesome. Liam is waiting for his snack.
Here he is on the train. LB has just chased this goat into the pen.
LB stood here watching the Elephants for a loooong time. The kid next to him is talking about how big its butt is. He was amazed.
Her is LB explaining to anyone how the elephants are related.

What's playing this week.

Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry spoke to the student body today about drinking. Two things stood out to me.
1. She isn't great looking. Granted she wasn't wearing this outfit and there was no cleavage to distract the eye but I was unimpressed.
2. She completely stole Emily's "we all have choices" line. She really didn't even do it justice, it wasn't sinister and ominous sounding.

Gretchen has been playing the new Destroyer album a lot over the last couple of weeks. I have to admit that it is a pretty bad-ass record. He really has a good thing going on this one. The opening cut is almost ten minutes long and you hardly even notice... It's that good. Here is one of my favorite songs from the album.
Destroyer - Priest's Knees

I have been listening to the Bishop Allen tune The Monitor so much that I'm sure Gretchen is about to pull out her hair. The song is amazing, give it a listen Bishop Allen - The Monitor.
Bishop Allen is a great band, I once heard them described as prep rock and that title seems to fit. I was turned on to them be www.youaintnopicasso.com . Their album Charm School was the first album I bought from itunes because I couldn't find it anywhere else. Right now they are in the midst of releasing one new ep per month until the end of the year and then the new album is going to be released, I can't wait.

This is what it sounds like when doves cry.

I watched the ACL fest broadcast of the Arcade Fire's set today... what an amazing performance. And if you can believe it their show the night before was even better. Chloe knows the names of all the members of the band. She doesn't like to wear the homemade Arcade fire shirt I made her because no one knows who they are in first grade. But she does wear it on the weekends.
Ahhh the good life.

I rode my bike to work in the rain today. It was a lot of fun but of coarse my ass was soaked and my brakes didn't work very well. I guess I should have avoided the puddles but where's the fun in that? Is it good that I keep wanting to jump something on my bike? Not like a row of trucks, a flaming hoop or a shark in a tank but just a nice dirt jump. I suppose I'm too old for that shit but it is fun to bomb down a hill as fast as possible. Maybe I should buy a helmet. I've been riding my bike quite a bit lately, I'd forgotten how much fun it is to ride... I'll try not to forget again.
I'm beginning to feel a bit jealous that G! is going to France again. One of these days.
I heard from PG the other day, he is alive and kicking. That kid always lands on his feet.
I need to make Lisa a couple of kick ass mix cds before we move.
I washed my thumb drive and it is still working.

The spell chack wanted me to change "Ahhh" to "Ahoy". I might just do that.

The weekend

I thought I'd do a recap of the great weekend we just had in pictures. They are not all in order. Saturday morning was spent at the farmers market and walking around cherrystreet. I'm sure you noticed how hip LB is. First check the emo haircut, then the deconstructed suit jacket over the nike tee and then the red sweats and a pair of crocs to finish off the outfit. Sweet.
They arrived Friday and then it commenced to rain all weekend long. Needless to say they stayed in. I probably tried them on a dozen times. Sorry about the addidas socks.
Sunday afternoon with the ladies. I've got to say that G! and her friends (at least the ones in these pictures and that's Britton's lap and boob so she's included) get better looking as they get older... what's up with that?
What an awesome laugh. She has probably just told a funny story highlighting the fact that sneakerheads are a little crazy, and she's right.

Memories

I found a short video clip from the Arcade Fire show I saw at Stubb's.
